Planning and directing work and resources for manufacturing products;
Resolving ergonomic and safety compliance issues in production;
Verifying finished product conformance to specification;
Ensuring compliance with standard operational and working practices;
Reviewing production orders and schedules to ensure types, quantities, specification and scheduled delivery dates for planning operations;
Inspecting machines and equipment to ensure optimum performance;
Reporting daily production progress;
Identifying and implementing continuous improvement projects;
Resolving worker grievances or submitting on to HR or management.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree required; Technical or Engineering disciplines preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
3
years of experience in manufacturing;
Experience in industries using NC/CNC machinery, CAD/CAM, plating, casting, grinding, turning, milling and/or cutting;
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, methods, and various processes, tools and related manufacturing equipment;
PC skills preferred, using Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/MRP applications.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
