Lease Purchase Lease Purchase Our lease purchase program is straight forward and one of the most successful out there. You pay off the truck you get the title. At Sammons the only way we succeed is if you succeed. We have the resources to support you, as long as you have the determination. We do not require a down payment or any upfront costs to get into our lease purchase program. We do require our contractors run Rand McNally electronic logs. We take great pride in the slogan Safety First. We adhere to the following guidelines in our hiring practices. If you have any questions on qualifications, please contact a recruiter in the Missoula office at 1-. Applicants need to have at least 12 months of open deck experience (flat, step or RGN). We also require at least 24 months of over-the-road experience. Sammons requires that all drivers have a TWIC card, if you do not have one at the time of hire, you will need to apply for one within 30 days. We take safety very seriously, therefore our recruiters will pull your Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), Pre-employment Screening Program Report (PSP) and DAC reports. Your PSP report will factor heavily in whether you qualify. Inspections and violations count against you and your employer. Your recruiter will go over your PSP with you and we encourage you to ask questions about this report. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY APPLICATION WITH A HISTORY OF A POSITIVE DRUG OR ALCOHOL TEST Our lease purchase contractors receive 75% of the line haul. We divide that between your personal pay (26%) and truck earnings (74%). You are also paid 100% of any tarping, stop-offs, detentions or any other incidentals that are included in the load, this is added to your personal pay. 100% of the fuel surcharge is added to the truck earnings. To figure your truck payment we take the total truck earnings (line haul fuel surcharge) and subtract the operating expenses. Typical operating expenses include, fuel, maintenance, insurance, trailer rental, etc. Our weekly trailer rental includes tires, maintenance, licensing and insurance. We have a Contractor
